The third meeting of the Balkan Forum which is held annually in Thessaloniki, was held online on September 24-25.
The forum was titled “Sustainable Development of the Balkans in the Post-Covid Era.” Dr. Şebnem Sözer, Head of Union Programmes and Cross-border Cooperation Department, attended as a speaker in the session of the meeting titled “Smart Practices in Cross-border Cooperation with Tourism-Agri-Food and Development Footprint for the Citizens of the Balkans” and represented the Directorate for EU Affairs. In her speech, Ms. Sözer provided brief information about Black Sea Basin and Bulgaria-Turkey CBC Programmes. She also presented sample projects in the field of agri-tourism implemented within the scope of CBC programmes and shared Turkey’s experiences.
