The preparatory meeting of ENI Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme which is expected to be called as Interreg NEXT Mediteranean Sea Basin Programme in the 2021-2027 programming period was held in Brussels on 29 January 2019.



Head of Department of Union Programmes and Cross-border Cooperation Programmes Şebnem Sözer and EU Affairs Expert Övünç Güneş were present at the meeting as Turkey is in the eligible area of the programme.





The structure and purposes of the Programme were briefly discussed during the meeting and the steps to be taken for preparation period were identified.
