Within the scope of Bulgaria – Turkey Cross-border Cooperation Programme of which Directorate for EU Affairs acts as the National Authority, Second Call for Proposals Launch Event and Project Implementation Training was held in Edirne.

The event started with the opening remarks of Director for EU Affairs and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, local authorities’ representatives, Turkish Ambassador to Sofia and Bulgarian Ambassador to Ankara Nadezhda Nikolova Neynsky. 

Following the opening session, programme beneficiaries consisting of the representatives from public bodies and non-governmental organizations, which imlemented project under the Programme, have been trained on project implementation modules in detail by the Department of Union Programmes and Cross-border Cooperation.
