Managing Authority and National Authority of the Black Sea Basin Programme were in Giresun for the Second Call for Project Proposals

A project preparation workshop was organized by the Romanian Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration as the Managing Authority of the Programme in Giresun  for the second and final call for proposals for the 2021-2027 period of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Cross-border Cooperation Programme in cooperation with the Directorate for European Union Affairs as the National Authority of the Programme and TESIM, which provides technical assistance to the Cross-border Cooperation Programmes.

Being held with the participation of representatives of public institutions, local administrations, universities, development agencies, chambers and commodity exchanges and non-governmental organizations from 25 provinces in the Programme area within Türkiye, experts from EU Affairs Directorate, officials from the Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat of the Programme in Constanta.and TESIM, the event started with the opening speeches of Giresun Deputy Governor Mehmet Fikret Çavuş and  Laura Bobarnac, Head of Unit of the Managing Authority, European  Territorial Cooperation Programmes of the Romanian Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration.

On the first day of the two-day event, following the presentation on key aspects  of the programme and the  requirements of the call, the project coordinator of the LitOUter project implemented by  Karadeniz Technical University  during 2014-2020 period shared experiences with the participants. The event continued with the presentation of TESIM focusing on the evaluation process of the project application through case studies. At the end of the event, the participants who gave the most correct answers to the questions about the information provided during the workshop were awarded prizes.

On the second day of the event, the details of developing a project budget in the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (JeMS), where the applications will be uploaded, were explained. The participants were also informed about project intervention logic, project budgeting.
