Information Meetings of the Call for Environmentally Friendly SMEs Continue

Information meetings which are delivered by Cross-border Cooperation Programme officials regarding the "environmentally friendly cross-border cooperation" project call for proposals announced for SMEs for the first time within the scope of the Bulgaria - Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme, continue without slowing down in the programme region. Small and medium-sized businesses in Edirne and Kırklareli will be able to make their enterprises more energy efficient and use resources more effectively through the grants to be provided to them.

EU Affairs Expert Kubilay Sitrava from Directorate for EU Affairs, Department of Cross-border Cooperation, and Project Manager of Joint Secretariat of the Programme Ceyda Peközer, informed  the SMEs who are potential applicants at the event organized by the Lüleburgaz Chamber of Commerce and Industry last month, and this week, they informed SMEs at two separate meetings organized by the Edirne and Kırklareli Chambers of Commerce  and Industry. Sitrava and Peközer also answered questions from Edirne and Kırklareli SMEs at the meetings where the level of interest to this particular cal for proposals is quite high.

Edirne and Kırklareli SMEs in the fields of production, accommodation and food services, transportation and storage, information and communication are expected to apply to the call by developing their projects with project partners in the programme region in Bulgaria. The application deadline for the call is March 13, 2024, and various project preparation trainings, information meetings and a partnership forum will be held in Edirne and Kırklareli in January 2024 for SMEs who are interested in the call and would like to participate. Following this process, project partners will submit their projects to the Programme's common electronic monitoring system (JeMS).
