The environmentally friendly call for proposals for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Edirne and Kırklareli under the Interreg IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme has been closed.

Under the call with the budget of €6,616,228, SMEs submitted 41 projects with a total budget of €15,313,695 under the topics of promoting energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy. For the topic of promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, 29 project proposals with a total budget of EUR 10,518,673 were submitted, while for the topic of the transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy, 12 project proposals with a total budget of EUR 4,795,022 were submitted.

The assessment process of the project ideas submitted to the call with partnership of Bulgarian and Turkish SMEs is planned to end in October.
