The first call for proposals under Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme closed on July 4th. Within the scope of the call which was launched on 30 March 2023, 151 project applications have been submitted, out of which 93 on regular projects and 58 on small scale projects, totalling 642 partners and 125 million Euro in Interreg funds requested.
The largest number of projects are in the fields of nature conservation, biodiversity, green infrastructure and pollution reduction. While 82 (54%) out of 151 projects were submitted by Turkish lead partners, 161 out of 642 partners across 7 Programme countries are from Türkiye.
