In the scope of the project Assessing the Vulnerability of the Black Sea Marine Ecosystem to Human Pressures (ANEMONE)Black Sea Basin Cross – border Cooperation Programme under the first call proposals of Black Sea Basin Cross-border Cooperation Programme, TUBITAK Marmara Research Center and Turkish Marine Research Foundation  organized a marine litter workshop in Istanbul on 24th April 2019.

Yusuf Ziya Ayrım, EU Affairs Expert from Directorate for EU Affairs, attended to the event during which experts carried out the evaluation of marine litter. In the event, the programme and the project were introduced as well.
