Joint Monitoring Committee Meeting of the Black Sea Cross Border Cooperation Programme Was Convened

The Joint Monitoring Committee Meeting of the ENPI Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme, in which Ministry for EU Affairs act as National Authority of Turkey, was convened on 13 July 2017 in Bucharest, Romania.  Relevant representatives of Programme bodies (Joint Managing Authority and Audit Authority), Programme countries (Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Turkey) and European Commission attended the meeting.

Committee members were informed by the JMA about the aspects related to the audits for projects carried out by the Joint Managing Authority – irregularities identified and recovery process as well as aspects related to the closure of the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2007-2013. Following the discussions on these topics, the Committee took a decision irregularities identified, recovery process and Programme closure.
