Applications for the 2024-2025 round of Interreg Slam, a performance competition, are now open. The theme of the contest, which is open to all Cross-border Cooperation Programmes, is stories that encompass and highlight the strength of European values such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights.

In particular, the contest will focus on stories of projects that ensure equal access to education, health and work, and will also welcome projects that address the appreciation of diversity through partnerships and the building of inclusive community relations, while the strong impact of all projects reflecting the spirit of Cross-border will also be evaluated.

By applying to the Interreg Slam, you can create a professional promotional video telling the story of your project, receive coaching and certificates from an expert in storytelling and video production, participate in the Interreg GO! event in Nova Gorica, Slovenia in March 2025. You can perform live on the European stage and meet top experts from the European Commission and Interreg’s programme bodies. You can reach millions of people by promoting Interact, which provides technical support to Cross-border Cooperation Programmes.

To help you get involved in the contest, there will be a kick-off event in May 2024, where the main innovations and features of Interreg Slam 2024-2025 will be presented, as well as two training webinars with an expert storyteller on June 3 and June 10.
