A civil engineer or an architect will be hired to be assigned to the Joint Technical Secretariat Antenna Office in Edirne that was founded within the scope of Bulgaria – Turkey IPA Cross-border Programme.
The Civil Engineer / Architect shall be employed on the basis of a contract with the Ministry for European Union Affairs which is the National Authority of the Programme under the terms of Turkish legislation. The aforementioned employment is under the Programme context and the employed person will not be an employee of Ministry for European Union Affairs.
The person to be employed will have to work in close co-operation with and supervised by the Head of JTS, the National Authority and the Managing Authority according to the contract which is going to be drawn up based on the job description given below. The competitive salary is foreseen to be gross 2250 Euros, however net salary will determined after subtracting taxes and other possible deductions based on the relevant legislation from this amount.

The respective subject line of the e-mail should be “Edirne Ofisi İnşaat Mühendisi/Mimar Başvurusu”, a proper email content should be present and the position applied should be specified in this content. A confirmation e-mail will be sent after successful receipt of the applications.
The documents requested for applications are listed as:
– Letter of Intent,
– CV in the format given,
– copy of diploma,
– copy of a certificate showing linguistic capacity (if present)
– copy of document/s providing information on the relevant professional experience (a record of service or reference letters)
In the evaluation of the applicants, the basis will be if the applicants have the qualifications which are outlined under the headings of requirements and assets which are mentioned in the job profile. Therefore, the applicants are expected to prepare their CV’s to highlight if they have those qualifications or not. Moreover, the applicants are expected to mention their goals about the applied position, their expectancies, the areas of interest and their preparations regarding those areas of interest – if present – in their Letter of Intent.
The applicants who did not submit the necessary documents which are requested (except the copy of a certificate showing linguistic capacity) during their application and who did not clarify if they fulfil all the requirements (aforementioned “requirements” and “assets”) either in their CV or in their Letter of Intent, will be eliminated in the preliminary stage of evaluation. The applicants who did not submit their email in the format above will be given low scoress from the communication skills criteria.
Depending on the initial evaluation on the CV’s of the applicants submitting all the required documents, those considered to fulfill the requirements listed on the job description may be invited for interview to be held in the Ministry for European Union Affairs premises.
