The deadline for the development of all shortlisted and reserve project ideas under the Regional Strategy of the Interreg IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 has expired.

A total of  27 in the main and reserve list, a total of 19 proposals were submitted, 13 from the main list and 6 from the reserve list.

The shortlisted project ideas of the call, which has a total budget of 13.423.529 EUR; were expected to contribute to the following areas.

- Competitiveness and business environment;

- Digitalization and climate neutrality of the local economy;

- Employability and labor market adaptability;

- Tourism;

- Ecosystem practices and services in the management of natural assets with tourism potential.

In this process, applicants were expected to further elaborate on the 27 project ideas identified in the first phase of the call, especially providing more detailed technical information in the project proposals, such as the operational aspects of the project, particularly the activity plan and budget.

The evaluation process is planned to be completed in 3 months. The detailed projects accepted at the end of the evaluation process will start to be implemented.
