The Interreg IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme has opened a restricted call for proposals for a strategic project to be implemented under the priority A Europe Closer to Citizens. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of responsible authorities in the programme area to prevent and respond to climate-related risks and more specifically forest fires.

The total amount of the call is EUR 5 176 470 and the following institutions are invited to submit project proposals.

•  General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Defense, Ministry of Interior, Bulgaria;

• Istanbul Regional Directorate of Forestry, General Directorate of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkey.

Each of the above partners may invite up to three other organizations with relevant competencies in the proposal area to participate in the project.

The application deadline is 30 September 2025, 17:00.
