Constructed by Çekmeköy Municipality within the project Developing Cultural and Creative İndustries in the Black Sea Basin (CREA – CENTERS) which was funded under ENI Black Sea Basin Cross-border Cooperation Programme, Çekmeköy Crea Center was opened with a ceremony participated by representatives from Istanbul Office of Direcorate for EU Affairs, Çekmeköy Municipality Digital Park Teknokent and project partner countries.  

Crea Centers is a project implemented by Çekmeköy Municipality and its partners from Ukraine, Romania, Greece and Bulgaria. Center provides cultural and creative industries (CCIs) free work and creation environment; facilitates international networking and cooperation; provides technical equipment/place for works.
