MARMAPS project, which is implemented within the scope of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, aims to promote conservation of Black Sea biodiversity and natural heritage and to raise public awareness about the importance of marine ecosystems and marine protected areas. through a photography contest.

The contest, which will end on December 31, is waiting for those who want to Black Sea in two different categories, under and over the age of 18. Photographs will be evaluated under three different themes: Black Sea marine and coastal fauna and flora, Black Sea landscapes and seascapes, human impact and environmental protection in the Black Sea. Participants can apply to each theme separately if they wish, but the photos taken must not be older than 2022 and must not be artificial intelligence products.
