Following finalization of the evaluation process of the first call for project ideas under the Territorial Strategy of Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme for 2021-2027, the development process of shortlisted (main and reserve list) project ideas by the project owners has started.

The shortlisted project ideas of the call, which has a total budget of 13.423.529 EUR; are expected to contribute to the following areas.

- Competitiveness and business environment;

- Digitalization and climate neutrality of the local economy;

- Employability and labor market adaptability;

- Tourism;

- Ecosystem practices and services in the management of natural assets with tourism potential.

In this process, applicants are expected to further elaborate on the 27 project ideas identified in the first phase of the call, especially providing more detailed technical information in the project proposals, such as the operational aspects of the project, particularly the activity plan and budget.

The deadline for the final submission of project proposals to the Programme's Joint Electronic Monitoring System (JEMs) 13 August 2024, 17:00 EEST.
